Trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6) - U Print - Digital DL

Below you'll find the process for creating this piece. It was an act of faith from beginning to end, to be honest. I worked with a hero of mine in composing and placing the figures, and spent a long while on the photo shoot alone, including costuming and posing the models. I began painting it just before getting married, and finished it after moving into our new apartment. The sale of the original miraculously ended up paying for the birth of our firstborn. Now I want to share it with you. The important thing is less the process and more the effect it may have on your view of the Savior and the counsel in Proverbs 3 that we trust in Him beyond trusting in our own understanding. As you watch this child extend their arm up tentatively, I hope you feel a kinship with that moment of decision and feel encouraged to take the Lord's hand daily and let Him move you forward.
